The Skywriter HPX M-40 is a superior 40-watt RGB laser fixture engineered to deliver huge visual punch for the largest stages, festivals, and demanding outdoor or indoor installations. As one of the highest-output models in the Skywriter series, the M-40 pairs formidable brightness with surprisingly efficient power consumption, giving designers maximum visual reach without the excessive electrical footprint common to fixtures as bright as this one.

Powered by a 40W balanced RGB direct-diode engine, the M-40 produces vivid, full-spectrum color with over 1,000 analog-mixed hues. Its low-divergence 1–2 mRad beams and 30K closed-loop scanners create precise aerials and beautifully smooth pattern movement, even across long throw distances typical of large venues and outdoor stages.

With X-Laser’s Mercury control built in, the M-40 slots directly into modern lighting workflows using DMX, sACN, Art-Net, and RDM. Designers can instantly access 450+ digital gobos, 50 color macros, 11 digital prisms, and 60 motion macros, plus an impressive 0.1°–45° zoom range for dynamic beam shaping. The fixture also incorporates up to eight layers of Basic Builder control, supporting advanced programming on pro consoles. The only limit is your creativity.

Built for real touring conditions, the M-40 features a fully sealed optical deck, rugged 6061 aluminum housing, and an onboard diagnostic LCD to speed up troubleshooting on the road. Despite its output, it maintains a relatively modest 950W peak power draw, making it easier to integrate into large production rigs without overloading electrical distribution.
